I just drove the truck empty on a 400 mile trip and averaged 19.3MPG for the whole trip (including city driving) and was getting 21-22MPG on the Freeway averaging 65MPH. But I haven't read anything that states why the Superchips tune is bad.
I want to add an Edge CTS (as I do not want to add gauges) to monitor EGT, Auto Transmission temperature, boost while towing a 7K Lb car trailer.įor all the reading I have done, everyone states to get a custom tune from places like PHP, TW or DP, and tunes that come with a Superchips, Edge, and etc are not good. I am not planning on heavy modding the truck (I have a turbo charged 94 Mustang for my modding addiction). Stock with a 4" exhaust and programmed with the performance tune from a Superchips Flashpaq 1805.
